Videos to be included in the Virtual Festival must be received by HSGA no later than November 30, 2020. All videos must be in 1080p (pixel) resolution and recorded at 30 fps (frames per second).
Performer Application – Please make sure and let us know in advance of your intent to submit a video. HSGA members can complete and electronically submit the Performer Application form, available on the HSGA website, by November 30, 2020.
Alternatively, HSGA members may complete the paper copy of the Performer Application that was enclosed with the HSGA newsletter and mail to: HSGA, c/o Roberto Alaniz, 2145 Tiffany Walk, Manteca, CA. 95336. To expedite the process you can also scan your application and email it to roberto.alaniz@comcast.net, or take a picture of the completed application and text it to (510) 449-3936.
Once you have completed your video, you may either upload your video file(s) or save them on a flashdrive, SD Card, or DVD and mail it to us.
Video Upload – If you upload your files to Google Drive or Drop Box, after you have completed the upload, share the files with HSGA member John Mumford at: john@jazzbanjo.com.
Send John an email as well to let him know you have shared the file along with the file name. Please note that uploading larger files can take long periods of time.
Videos Submitted by Mail – The alternative is to save your files to a flashdrive (USB), SD Card or DVD and mail it to: John Mumford, 7956 S Monaco Ct., Centennial, CO 80112.
If you want him to return your files to you, you will need to send return postage with your drive.
