This year's Waikīkī Steel Guitar Week promises to be a Cornucopia of Steel Guitar in Waikīkī, the biggest in the event's history, with the most public steel guitar performances ever offered within a single week.

The 2025 Waikīkī Steel Guitar Week kicks off on Sunday, July 6 with the inaugural Steel Guitar Sundays performance at the Hula Grill Waikiki. Hula Grill Waikiki has chosen this year's Week to launch its monthly series of two-hour concerts that will be offered on the first Sunday of each month through the end of the year. The first performance, beginning at 10:00 AM, will feature Alan Akaka.

"The steel guitar is an integral part of Hawaii's rich music history and we can't wait to share the beauty of its sound with all of our guests," said Hula Grill Waikiki General Manager Michelle Whitton. "This new initiative will enhance the dining experience for our customers, while providing a unique platform to elevate local artists."
