Here is the latest news about HIMELE's Hawaiian steel guitar festivals.
Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival at Ka Makana Ali‘i
February 18, 2023 - Postponed
Due to forecasts of severe weather the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival at Ka Makana Ali‘i was postponed. HIMELE is working with the center to present the festival in April. The date will be announced when arrangements are finalized.
Kona Steel Guitar Festival
March 23-25, 2023
ARTISTS
NextGen steel guitarist Joey Misailidis will not perform at the festival due to a conflict with a school swim meet. Joey is on Punahou's swim team.
