Revised Lineup for Maui Showcase

The featured artist lineup for the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Showcase's Livestream Steel Guitar Saturday scheduled for November 20, 2021, has been revised.
The livestream event will originate from the Old Wailuku Inn at Ulupono in Wailuku, Maui. Steel guitarist Ross Ka‘a‘a has been added to the list of featured steel guitarists, replacing two of his steel guitar students who are unable to participate in the event.
Originally scheduled for the showcase were steel guitar students Greg Juan and Maka‘iwa Ho. Ho is unable to participate due to a football game commitment.
The showcase will also feature Maui steel guitarists Joel Katz and Geronimo "Geri" Valdriz. The livestream will be emceed by Alan Akaka, with special guest appearances by Maui celebrity Kathy Collins and Old Wailuku Inn's owner and manager Tom Fairbanks.
All three Maui steel guitarists have performed at various Maui Steel Guitar Festivals since 2013 and all three currently appear at various Maui venues featuring Hawaiian music.
The livestream broadcast will begin at 3PM HST. Mainland US livestream guests should note that the broadcast will begin one hour earlier due to the change in Daylight Savings time which Hawai‘i does not observe.
