Long before Leo Fender built the Telecaster, Stratocaster and Precision bass guitars, he built Hawaiian lap steels.
The "Stringmaster" model is one of Fender's most highly regarded steel guitars. Its multi-necked console body is a classic design. Fender did not make a single neck Stringmaster.
This Fender Deluxe 8 model is rare and sought after by collectors and players. It includes Stringmaster "features" such as dual pickups per neck, control knobs for pickup balance, an Ash wood body, and a custom black painted finish.
Enthusiasts mistakenly call this model a single neck Stringmaster 8!
