1955 Magnatone Troubadour G65

The wood body Model G65 Troubadour was the top of the line lap steel guitar produced by Magnatone in the 1950's. It was designed with the help of engineer Paul Bigsby.

The solid Honduras Mahogany body is thick and heavy with a distinctive stair step shape to it. The "Gumby" headstock is a favorite of collectors.

The fretboard is a thin metal plate with rectangles, stars and diamond fret markers.

The pickup has a hot output, thick midrange and a warm treble. It is a great sounding and fully professional instrument!
