Mauna Lani Announces 2019 Hawai‘i Island Steel Guitar Festival

Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection, in partnership with HIMELE (Hawaii Institute for Music Enrichment and Learning Experiences), is pleased to announce the 2019 Hawai'i Island Steel Guitar Festival, scheduled for December 13-15, 2019. The Hawai'i Island Steel Guitar Festival will showcase three extraordinary days of music, cuisine and 'talk story' as the resort welcomes guests back to a reimagined resort, anchored by the people, the storied place and the island's inherent hospitality.

The 2019 Hawai'i Island Steel Guitar Festival is a celebration of Hawai'i's vibrant music scene, with emphasis on perpetuating the living culture, education and a passion for the arts. The annual festival will be held throughout the resort's expansive property and will incorporate the resort's monthly Twilight at Kalahuipua‘a series, conducted by the resort's Kahu Hanai, Danny Akaka, Jr.
