George Bronson was a lap steel guitar teacher living in Detroit, Michigan. He had a line of steel guitars and amplifiers branded in his name, and sold them in his store and through a mail order catalog.
This Melody King Model 52 was built by the Rickenbacker Company for Bronson. It is made of brown bakelite, has a horseshoe magnet pickup, an ornate hinged headstock cover, brown bakelite control knobs, and 5 gold cavity covers on top.
It is a clone of the Rickenbacker post war Model B and it sounds identical!
