1951 Gibson Ultratone

Ultratones are among the most colorful lap steels made by the Gibson Company. Finishes include deep blue, salmon, black, and brown.
This two tone finish combines an ivory top over a reddish brown Honduras mahogany body.
The top has aged to a golden hue and makes this lap steel resemble Gibson's gold top solidbody guitars of the same period.
The combination hand rest and pickup cover sports a lyre and floral design. The famous P-90 pickup with adjustable pole pieces let players dial in their tone.
