The Ke Kula Mele Hawaii School of Hawaiian Music presented its 2016 Winter Concert on Saturday, December 17, at Kaneohe's Windward Mall. The hour-long concert featured the music school's students singing and playing traditional Hawaiian and Christmas songs. The concert theme was "ALOHA."
Each song featured a Hawaiian steel guitar played by one of the school?s many steel guitar students from age 11 to adult. Six of the school?s steel guitar students performed a steel guitar ensemble medley arranged by Kumu (teacher) Alan Akaka. The medley included Aloha-themed songs "The Palm Trees Sing Aloha," "There Goes Kealoha," He Aloha No 'O Honolulu," and "To You Sweetheart, Aloha."

Additional pictures and videos of some of the concert performances are available at the school's Facebook page.
