Keoki's Paradise in Kaua'i's Poipu Beach will be the site of a Kickoff Hawaiian Jam Session (Kika Pila) for the 2018 Kaua'i Steel Guitar Festival. The Kika Pila will be held on Thursday, February 1, from 6-9 P.M.

Ian Estrada, Keoki's Paradise Bar Manager, says, "We are excited to have some world class steel guitar players jam out at Keoki's." MaryLou Foley, public relations consultant, adds, "I hope this is the beginning and can grow for next year…"

The jam session will be held in the restaurant's bar area and will feature several festival steel guitarists including Alan Akaka and Bobby Ingano. Next Generation steel guitarists will also be on hand to perform, along with backup musicians from the Ke Kula Mele ensemble.

Open mic opportunities will be available, and everyone is invited to bring an instrument and join in.

Keoki's Paradise is located at 2360 Kiahuna Plantation Drive in Poipu Beach (Koloa.) See the restaurant's website for further information and directions.
